Danville Science Center
The Danville Science Center offers something for all ages with its hands-on exhibits, digital dome shows and special programs that make science fun for everyone. During butterfly season (April-October), don't miss the beauty of the Butterfly Station and Garden—one of only a few butterfly greenhouses in Virginia.

Danville Museum of Fine Arts & History
Danville Museum of Fine Arts and History (DMFAH) is the primary fine arts and historical institution in the region and is valued as a major cultural resource for regional educators, artists, students, and researchers. The Museum collaborates with cultural organizations to promote and develop art education and programs for the general public, both residents and visitors.

Smokestack Theatre Company
The Smokestack Theatre Company possesses an abundantly talented staff, some with as much as 40 years of experience in the theatre, and not one of them with less than twenty years of theatre under their belt. Its season consists of improv shows, dinner theatre, and the annual "Ghosts and Gravestones that takes place in Danville's Grove Street Cemetery.

Reid Street Gallery
Reid Street Gallery, located one block off Main Street in Chatham, is housed in a renovated warehouse. The gallery sells local and regional art and holds classes, workshops, and special events. There is also a variety of fantastic greeting cards and a nice snack bar area where people can have a cup of coffee and a snack while meeting friends or just enjoying a break from a busy day.
